Tohatsu’s 5hp Outboard motor delivers outstanding fuel economy and reliability second to none. The Tohatsu 5hp Model MFS5DS comes equipped with a 15 inch short shaft and is a great source of portable power for jon boats, skiffs, and inflatables, as well as auxiliary power for sailboats and “kickers” for larger fishing boats. The new MFS5DS also comes equipped with the newly designed top and bottom cowls based on Tohatsu Design Philosophy for Marine Products, 3-way storage positions without worrying about oil spill, ultra-low emission, EPA and CARB 3-Star rating approved, and the newly designed Tohatsu unique front and back carrying handles for easier transportation. The Tohatsu 5hp outboard engine shares many 4hp features with the added benefit of a larger carburetor and propeller for increased performance. Tohatsu’s 5 hp Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Sail Pro ultra-long shaft outboard is specifically designed for use on sailboats, and includes a high thrust prop and 12V alternator. With this powerful, innovative outboard, sailors no longer need to carry gasoline on board. The 5 hp LPG comes equipped with a fuel line that will connect to any standard propane tank and will run for 5 hours WOT on a single 11lb propane tank. Tohatsu’s high-performance, innovative LPG model offers easy starting, quieter operation and nearly no maintenance on fuel-related components. 2019 SUZUKI 50 HP DF50AVTL2 OUTBOARD MOTOR
The new Suzuki DF50AVTL2 is designed with a “High Energy Rotation” lower unit sporting a 2.42:1 gear ration, which enables this new model to use a bigger 14″ propeller – perfect for powering pontoon boats and other large, heavy craft. This mid-range 50hp engine is also designed with Lean Burn Fuel Control System, which adjusts the air/fuel mixtrue according to operating conditions. The system significantly improves fuel efficiency across the operating range, from low speeds well up into the cruising range.
