The all new Suzuki 9.9 HP EFI outboard motor model DF9.9BTHLW2 is a 20 inch long shaft, electric start with power tilt. The Suzuki 9.9 HP outboard engine is lightweight, compact and fuel efficient. This 2-cylinder 4-stroke is remarkably smooth and quiet. The Suzuki 9.9hp outboard is an excellent choice for long shaft jon boats and skiffs, as well auxiliary power for sailboats and “kickers” for larger fishing boats. Suzuki designed the 123 lb. 9.9hp with user-friendly features such as the multi-function tiller handle which controls steering, throttle, throttle tension, and power tilt. The new Suzuki DF60AVTL2 is designed with a “High Energy Rotation” lower unit sporting a 2.42:1 gear ration, which enables this new model to use a bigger 14″ propeller – perfect for powering pontoon boats and other large, heavy craft. This mid-range 60hp engine is also designed with Lean Burn Fuel Control System, which adjusts the air/fuel mixtrue according to operating conditions. The system significantly improves fuel efficiency across the operating range, from low speeds well up into the cruising range. The 212-cc 9.9-hp High Thrust outboard is the perfect kicker for bass, flats and multi-species boats. Available in both 20-inch and 25-inch shaft lengths, it can even power boats with 25-inch transoms that venture into deeper, rougher waters. - More Thrust: The Higher Gear Ratio on Yamaha’s High Thrust outboards make these powerhouses ideal for heavy pontoons and other applications that require an extra measure of muscle.
- Max Muscle: Increase thrust up to 60 percent in forward and 70 percent in reverse with a large-diameter, low-pitch Dual Thrust™ propeller. They’re optional on our High Thrust T50 and T60, and standard on our T25 and T9.9, and are perfect for sailboats and pontoons.
